First of what we hope will be a Family Tradition

We had a great party today. Many of the family were able to come. We hope they had a good time. Lots of visiting and lots of great food. Thanks to all of you.

By now you have all probably noticed that we finally gave in and joined facebook. My only problem is that I really don't have time to look and read all of the information on F.B. and this site as well. So don't expect to see much here.

Yoda and other stuff

Well by now you all have heard about Yoda.
It was a very sad time when the Dr. called and informed us that she had passed away. We learned from him that the cause was likely an aneurysm, she could have had this for some time and it may have been the stress of the operation that caused it to burst.
We have had some good times with our little dog. We started thinking about all the travel trips that she was able to be with us and what a fun little one she was.
We buried her under the 'underella tree'
Bonnie had more tests on her arm, this time it was to see what was causing her to loose her grip and why the hand was swelling, it would appear at this time it may just be she needs more time to heal from the operation, they found that she has a slight weakness in one of her nerves, but this would not have caused the swelling or the grip problem, we will continue to follow up with the Dr. as she does her physical therapy exercises.
Now that the rain has stopped, we should start to see our garden start to grow. (we'll see)
The fence is all back to gether and we are preparing the ground to plant some grass inside the yard. Outside is another story, we plan on doing zero scaping on the west side and grass on the front.

Hello Y'all Father day and we are bloggin

What are we doing?

Ok now for some news...
Mom went to the Dr. and he has signed her up for Physical Therapy, we went to the P.T. on Friday and Mom got her list of exercises. She has been really agressive in following her exercises, but it is really painful.
We have been able to go Temple Square for our Missionary assingments, on Thursday we were at the New Church History Library, and if you looked really close to Channel Five news you could see us in the background, in one or two of the shots. It was really an interesting assingment.
On Friday we went to our regular morning duties and were able to stay the whole time. I would like to complement Mom, she gave the Spiritual Thought and it was really great, she talked about Grandma Johnson and her visiting with her after Brother Johnson passed away, years ago, She said to G. Johnson "I should stay the night with you so you will not be alone, " She responded holding her hands into the air, " I am never alone when I have the Lord. The Lord is my light"
anyway you really had to be there to feel the spirit. All of our fellow missionaries were touched by your Mom's Testimony, You should all be very proud of her. How fortunate we are to have her as our model.
